"The Occupation Defines the Resistance"
On the way to meet a challenge in battle, Ali (ra) said:
Rejoice; your call is now met
By one who in trouble never falters,
One with a will and vision armed
Wishing to be a winner tommorow.
O, how I wish to dispatch you to the mourners
Who will furnish your funeral celebrate,
With a mighty blow
Enchanting to recall when the going is rough.

May Allah
(swt) raise up a leader from amongst us who will fight this fitnah and unite our Ummah. Ameen!

While I think this is a powerful video, effectively depicting the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Palestine at the hands of the Israeli regime, it could seriously do without the short, borderline anti-semitic section which attempts to show how Jews control the US. What is the author’s source for the statistics he quotes? I hope it is more reputable than Charles Lindbergh. Jews are 2% of the population and yet have 15% of civil service positions? This seems more the result of effective communal organization (something which we need to develop if we are to succesfully advocate for the rights of Muslims) than of some conspiracy.
At any rate, even if one did believe that there was a conspiracy, would it actually help our cause in any way to blame the depredations in Palestine on it? It would only serve as a convenient target which would allow our opponents to seemingly discredit the whole presentation by refuting this tiny section. We have to use Hikmah, brothers and sisters; we can’t just throw in every unsubstantiated claim and expect something to stick. We want our advocacy to be airtight. I say ameen to your duas.
